The Edge Element

The Edge Element is an online gallery with wallpaper/desktop backgrounds, website themes and other random extras. The gallery features a free section as well as a subscription option which gives members access to a wider range of content. The project release schedule is as follows:

• Alpha release: June 2010

• Beta release: September 2010

• Final release: TBA

All images, text and other content on this site apart from the images in the Free Gallery are © Emma J Lomman and may not be reproduced, transmitted or altered in any way without the express written permission of the copyright holder. This includes the images in the Subscriber gallery.

Images in the subscriber gallery are currently free for personal use by subscribers subject to the above restrictions.

Images in the Free Gallery are currently licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 Australia License.

Emma usually bases her images around real-life photos, adding fantasy or science-fiction elements or creating abstract effects. She uses a variety of programs, alternating between Fireworks, Photoshop and Gimp for the main image manipulations and adding elements created in Illustrator, Inkscape and even OpenOffice Draw.
